Tribute to a famous scientist, one of the first who worked with radioactive materials.

“It seems that life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing, at whatever cost, must be attained. Perhaps everything will turn out very well, at the moment when we least expect it….”

Marie Sklodofska Curie wrote this in a letter to her brother as she was working on her doctor’s thesis. Well we all know how well this worked out for this great scientist! For her extraordinary achievement’s Madame Curie was awarded two Nobel prizes, one in physics and one in chemistry.
